So last night I watched The Lost Interview with Steve Jobs…and holy shit is this thing amazing/depressing. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’ll give you some background on the movie….and since I don’t feel like typing it out, here’s the movie info from Rotten Tomatoes.
“In 1995, during the making of his TV series Triumph of the Nerds about the birth of the PC, Bob Cringely did a memorable hour-long interview with Steve Jobs. It was 10 years since Jobs had left Apple following a bruising struggle with John Sculley, the CEO he had brought into the company. At the time of the interview Jobs was running NeXT, the niche computer company he had founded after leaving Apple. During the interview, Jobs was at his charismatic best – witty, outspoken, visionary. In the end, only a part of the interview was used in the series and the rest was thought lost. But recently a VHS copy was found in the series director’s garage. Now, cleaned up with modern technology, and put into context by Cringely, the entire interview will be screened in Landmark Theatres.”

Of course I was busy drinking piss warm beer that we got from corner stores, paying some old man an extra 5 bucks to buy it for us, and these kids were at home studying to make sure I would want to go get shit faced because their salary is 30k higher than the average US income.
Jay-Z is one of the most recognized names in music today. Whether you listen to hip hop or not, you know the name Jay-Z. Some may or may not recognize what he looks like, and those that don’t listen to rap will have an excuse to have no clue what Jay-Z looks like. But when you are somebody of Jay’s status, a mogul, the last question you EVER expect to hear at this point in your career is … “Are you famous?“. You have to respect this old white lady, forget about the cameraman, security, tons of fans… she just wants to know why your causing all this commotion on her way home bro.
Check the video after the break and go to 19:30 for the convo.
USAToday – First they come out with the Gold card, and like any good marketing it worked… I was going to Starbucks, just to get another star in my cup on the app. Now they come out with a new exclusive card that is made of steel. I don’t even know how I am going to sell this one to the boss, no way in hell she is going to let me convince her of this investment. At $450 a pop with a $400 dollar credit it sounds like a good deal to me.
Yahoo – Holy shit. I was first taught the Gangnam Style dance in the summer by a 13 year old. I thought originally that it was some guy imitating Ron Jeremy, and still think he is… Look at that move, only pro’s know that. This guy’s success doesn’t come from thinking of how to dance around like a fool and get 880 Million views on YouTube, but it comes from the fact that he’s definitely gotten in with every bitch in Asia. Look at that cross over technique, Ron Jeremy would be proud. Continue reading
